October 11, 2018 – (SOLON, Ohio) – Multi Radiance Medical Super Pulsed Laser Therapy technology was featured in the October 11, 2018 news report on WKYC Channel 3 News.
Senior Health Correspondent Monica Robins visited the therapeutic laser manufacturer’s headquarters in Solon, Ohio for a closer look at the laser technology and how it could change what pain relief means in the current opioid crisis.
Eric Schumacher, a retired former high school football coach, described the “hot, stabbing sensation” he felt after suffering a partially torn Achilles tendon. After 15 laser treatments from Brent Ungar, DC in nearby Canton, he now has “no pain whatsoever.”
“This uses visible and infrared light which is safe for the body and we make sure the device is safe for the eyes so it’s not bright and won’t damage the eyes, so the patient can actually take it home and apply the therapy themselves,” said Douglas Johnson, Senior Vice President of Clinical and Scientific Affairs at Multi Radiance Medical.
